Employment Type: Full-time Job Summary

The Mixologist is responsible for preparing and serving high-quality alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages while creating an exceptional guest experience. The role requires creativity, product knowledge, excellent customer service, and strict adherence to hygiene, safety, and responsible alcohol service standards.

Prepare and serve cocktails, mocktails, wines, beers, spirits, and other beverages according to established recipes and presentation standards. Create signature cocktails and seasonal drink menus that enhance the guest experience. Recommend drinks based on guest preferences and menu pairings. Ensure all beverages are prepared consistently, accurately, and promptly. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area before, during, and after service. Monitor and replenish bar inventory, ensuring adequate stock levels at all times. Assist with stock counts and report shortages, breakages, or discrepancies. Store beverages, garnishes, and ingredients properly to maintain freshness and quality. Verify guests meet the legal drinking age and promote responsible alcohol consumption. Follow all health, hygiene, and food safety regulations. Operate bar equipment safely and report any maintenance issues. Handle guest complaints professionally and escalate concerns when necessary. Work collaboratively with servers, kitchen staff, and management to ensure seamless service. Support bar promotions, events, and special functions. Stay updated on current beverage trends, spirits, wines, cocktails, and mixology techniques.

Minimum of OND, SSCE, or equivalent qualification. Certification in Mixology, Bartending, or Hospitality is an added advantage. At least 2–5 years of experience as a Mixologist or Bartender in a reputable restaurant, hotel, lounge, or bar. Strong knowledge of classic cocktails, premium spirits, wines, beers, and non-alcoholic beverages.

Excellent cocktail preparation and presentation skills. Strong customer service and communication abilities. Creativity in developing unique drink recipes. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Strong attention to detail. Good organizational and inventory management skills. Basic mathematical and cash-handling skills. Team player with a positive attitude. Ability to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
