Grassroots Lifesaving Outreach (LESGO) is an impartial, neutral and independent Non-Governmental Organization whose mission exclusively established to promote life in underserved communities through empowering communities to know and protect lives including their environment towards ensuring safe habitation through participatory methodology. Established in Grassroots Lifesaving Outreach was established in 2010 but was incorporated in the year 2011 with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC). LESGO exists to partner with government and relevant agencies to promote and strengthen humanitarian law and a universal principle that seeks to honor the dignity of mankind with support and believe that Life is worth living and living well. We are  recruiting to fill the position below:

 Job Title: Enumerator for Beneficiary Verification

Locations: Lamurde, Numan, and Yola North LGAs - Adamawa

Employment Type: Full Time Scope of Work

Verifying beneficiary information against registration lists. Ensuring data accuracy, confidentiality, and timely submission. Reporting challenges encountered during fieldwork to supervisors. Supporting community sensitization and mobilization activities.

Required Qualifications

Minimum of OND/NCE or equivalent; higher qualifications are an advantage. Prior experience in data collection, surveys, or humanitarian programs preferred. Fluency in local languages (Bachama, Fulfude, Hausa,) and English. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work under pressure in insecure or remote environments.

The assignment will last approximately 5 days.

Demonstrated experience in field data collection. Language proficiency and ability to engage with diverse groups. Commitment to humanitarian principles, neutrality, and confidentiality.

Stipends

Daily Allowance: N10,000 Daily Transport Allowance (including boat to hard-to-reach riverine communities): N5,000
