Our business scope: sales and renting of heavy trucks, light trucks, coaches, mine vehicles, special vehicles, engineering machinery (such as wheel loader, hoister, excavator, etc.); TBR tyres, spare parts sales; vehicle maintenance service. We are  recruiting to fill the position below:

 Job Title: Spare Parts Manager

Location: Ikeja, Lagos

Employment Type: Full-time Responsibilities

Manage the day-to-day operations of the workshop spare parts store. Maintain accurate records of all spare parts received, issued, returned, and in stock. Monitor stock levels and ensure adequate availability of fast-moving and critical spare parts. Establish minimum and maximum stock levels for different parts. Conduct regular physical stock counts and reconcile them with inventory records. Identify slow-moving, obsolete, damaged, or excess stock and provide recommendations to management. Ensure proper labeling, categorization, and storage of all spare parts. Identify parts requirements based on workshop demand and vehicle service schedules. Prepare purchase requests and coordinate with procurement and management for replenishment. Source spare parts from approved suppliers and ensure competitive pricing. Verify the quality, specifications, and compatibility of parts before acceptance. Maintain an updated database of suppliers, prices, lead times, and availability. Follow up on outstanding orders and ensure timely delivery. Work closely with technicians and the Workshop Manager to determine parts required for repairs and maintenance. Ensure technicians receive the correct parts for each repair job. Verify part numbers, vehicle models, specifications, and quantities before issuing parts. Ensure parts issued to a repair order/job card are properly documented. Monitor parts consumption and identify unusual or excessive usage. Ensure urgent parts requirements are handled promptly to minimize vehicle downtime.
