Employment Type: Full-time Summary

We are seeking a motivated, results-driven, and proactive Client Acquisition Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying potential clients, generating leads, building strong business relationships, and converting prospects into active clients. The ideal candidate should have excellent communication and negotiation skills, a strong understanding of sales and marketing, and the ability to consistently work towards and achieve set acquisition targets.

Identify and prospect potential clients through various channels, including calls, referrals, networking, social media, and direct outreach. Develop and maintain a healthy pipeline of prospective clients. Contact prospective clients, understand their needs, and present suitable products or services. Convert qualified leads into new clients and contribute to the company's revenue growth. Build and maintain strong, professional relationships with existing and prospective clients. Follow up consistently with leads and prospects to improve conversion rates. Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and potential customer segments. Meet and exceed monthly client acquisition and revenue targets. Maintain accurate records of leads, prospects, follow-ups, and conversions. Prepare regular reports on client acquisition activities, progress, and performance. Work closely with the Business Development, Marketing, and Management teams to achieve organizational goals. Represent the company professionally at meetings, networking events, and other business engagements.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

Number of new clients acquired. Lead generation and conversion rate. Monthly revenue generated from acquired clients. Number of qualified prospects added to the pipeline. Client retention and relationship development. Achievement of monthly and quarterly acquisition targets.

Bachelor's Degree / HND in Marketing, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field. Previous experience in sales, marketing, business development, customer acquisition, or a related role is an advantage. Strong communication, persuasion, and negotiation skills. Ability to generate leads and convert prospects into paying clients. Target-driven, proactive, and self-motivated. Strong interpersonal and relationship-management skills. Good knowledge of Microsoft Office and digital communication platforms. Ability to work independently while also functioning effectively within a team. Candidates with experience in financial services, consulting, microfinance, banking, or related industries will have an added advantage.
