 Job Title: Store Officer

Location: Life Camp, Abuja (FCT)

Employment Type: Full-time Job Summary

We are seeking a diligent and values-driven *Store Officer* to join our team. The ideal candidate will have an accounting background and a strong commitment to integrity, stewardship, and service.

Key Responsibilities 

Receive, inspect, and verify all incoming items against purchase orders and delivery notes Unpack, label, and store incoming items in designated locations to ensure proper stock rotation Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, stock movements, and all store transactions Monitor stock levels and initiate requisitions to maintain optimal inventory levels Pick, pack, and prepare outgoing orders for departments and students Coordinate with suppliers and procurement to ensure timely delivery of goods Conduct regular stock counts and reconcile discrepancies between physical stock and system records Prepare monthly stock reports and assist the accounts department with inventory valuation Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations in the store Keep the school store clean, organized, and free from hazards Assist with other procurement and administrative tasks as assigned by management

Requirements & Qualifications

Education: Minimum of HND / B.Sc in Accounting, Stores Management, Supply Chain, or related field. Candidates with ICAN or any accounting certification will have an added advantage Experience: 3+ years experience in store management, inventory control, or accounts/store role, preferably in a school Accounting Background: Must have strong understanding of stock accounting, inventory valuation, and record keeping. Ability to work with inventory software and Excel Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and any inventory management system Strong numeracy, attention to detail, and organizational skills Honest, trustworthy, and of high moral character consistent with Christian values Good communication and interpersonal skills Ability to lift and move stock items as required Must be a resident in Abuja.
