Responsible for leading and optimizing the organization's procurement processes. This role combines technical expertise in strategic sourcing, contract negotiation, and supplier management to ensure efficient procurement of goods and services. The Procurement Manager plays a pivotal role in achieving cost savings, mitigating risks, and enhancing the overall efficiency of the procurement function.

Develop and implement strategic sourcing strategies to secure cost-effective and high-quality goods and services. Conduct market analysis to identify potential suppliers, evaluate their capabilities, and negotiate favorable terms. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align sourcing strategies with organizational goals.

Lead contract negotiations with suppliers to secure advantageous terms, including pricing, payment, and delivery terms. Draft and review contracts, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. Collaborate with legal and finance teams to address contractual issues and ensure contract adherence.

Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to optimize performance, quality, and delivery. Conduct regular supplier evaluations and performance reviews to ensure alignment with contractual agreements. Identify and onboard new suppliers, fostering a competitive and diverse supplier base.

Implement cost management strategies to achieve cost savings without compromising quality. Conduct cost-benefit analysis for procurement decisions, identifying opportunities for cost reduction. Monitor and analyze market trends to anticipate and mitigate cost fluctuations.

Identify and assess risks associated with procurement activities, including supply chain disruptions and supplier financial stability. Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies to safeguard the continuity of supply. Collaborate with relevant teams to address and resolve potential risks.

Develop and enforce procurement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with internal and external regulations. Conduct regular audits to verify compliance with established procurement processes. Collaborate with finance and legal teams to address any compliance issues.

Utilize data analytics tools to analyze procurement trends, supplier performance, and cost-effectiveness. Prepare regular reports on procurement activities, cost savings, and supplier performance. Present findings and recommendations to senior management for informed decision-making.

Qualifications Required

Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.

5+ years of experience in finance or accounting, preferably in the logistics Proven experience in procurement and strategic sourcing. Familiarity with procurement software and data analytics tools.
