Job Title: Procurement Officer

Location: Lagos

Employment Type: Full-time About the Role

We are looking for a Procurement Officer to manage the sourcing and purchasing of materials, equipment, and services required for our solar and energy projects.

Source and procure solar, electrical, technical, office, and project-related materials. Obtain, compare, and negotiate supplier quotations and pricing. Identify and maintain relationships with reliable suppliers. Raise and track purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of materials. Verify that purchased items meet required specifications and quality standards. Maintain accurate procurement records and documentation. Work closely with Project, Technical, Finance, and Stores teams to meet procurement needs. Monitor supplier performance and resolve delivery or quality issues. Ensure procurement activities comply with company procedures and approved budgets.

Candidates should possess a B.Sc Degree with 2 - 3 years experience.  Experience procuring solar, electrical, engineering, or construction materials is an advantage. Strong negotiation, communication, and organisational skills. Good knowledge of Excel/Google Sheets. High attention to detail, integrity, and ability to follow up effectively.
