About the role

We are looking for a skilled Science Lab Technician to oversee our school's science laboratories. The successful candidate will assist teachers in preparing and conducting experiments, ensuring a safe and efficient lab environment.

Role Responsibilities:

Manage inventory of lab supplies, ordering materials as needed and maintaining a well-organized storage system.
Assist teachers and students during lab sessions, providing guidance on proper techniques and safety protocols.
Collaborate with science teachers to develop and organize lab experiments that align with the curriculum.
Set up and maintain science lab equipment, ensuring functionality and safety.
Stay informed about safety regulations in a laboratory environment and ensure compliance.

Role Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in a science-related field.
Laboratory experience, including knowledge of common scientific procedures and techniques.
Attention to detail and organizational skills.
Strong problem-solving abilities.

Nice to have:

Previous experience in a school setting, particularly in a science-related role.

Familiarity with safety regulations specific to educational laboratories.
