Job Type: Full-time About the Role

We are seeking a Technical Sales Specialist to develop opportunities across microbiology, food safety, agricultural testing, and related laboratory applications. The candidate will work with laboratories, food manufacturers, quality-control teams, research institutions, and other organizations that depend on reliable microbiological and analytical testing.

Develop new accounts across microbiology and agri-food testing Identify customer testing requirements Recommend appropriate laboratory solutions Conduct product presentations and demonstrations Develop and manage sales opportunities Prepare quotations and technical proposals (in coordination with the back-office team) Support product evaluations Build relationships with laboratory managers, microbiologists, QA/QC teams, and procurement personnel Monitor industry developments Identify new market opportunities Support customer training where required Coordinate with suppliers and technical partners Maintain CRM and opportunity records Achieve agreed commercial targets

Ideal Candidate

B.Sc. / B.Tech /M.Sc. in Microbiology, Food Science, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Agricultural Science, or a related discipline 2–5 years of relevant laboratory, technical-sales, or business-development experience preferred Understanding of microbiological testing Knowledge of food safety or agricultural testing is highly desirable Experience with laboratories, food manufacturers, or QA/QC environments is an advantage Strong communication and presentation skills Commercially confident and target-oriented
