 Job Title: Office Manager

Location: Lagos

Reports To: Managing Director Job Summary

The Office Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day administrative operations of the office, ensuring a productive, organized, and efficient work environment. This role manages office facilities, supplies, vendors, administrative processes, and provides support to employees and leadership.


Key Responsibilities

Manage daily office operations and ensure smooth administrative functions. Oversee office supplies, equipment, and inventory, ensuring adequate stock levels. Coordinate with vendors, service providers, and maintenance contractors. Manage office budgets related to administration and facilities. Ensure the office environment is clean, safe, and compliant with company policies. Coordinate meetings, events, travel arrangements, and office logistics. Maintain office records, filing systems, and confidential documents. Support onboarding of new employees by coordinating workspace, equipment, and office access. Supervise administrative staff such as receptionists, office assistants, or clerks whereapplicable. Develop and improve office procedures and administrative systems. Handle incoming correspondence, courier services, and office communications. Assist management with reporting, scheduling, and special projects as required.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

Office operational efficiency. Budget adherence. Vendor performance and cost management. Employee satisfaction with office services. Timely completion of administrative tasks. Compliance with health, safety, and company policies.


Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Management, or a related field preferred. 3–5 years of experience in office administration or office management. Experience supervising administrative staff is an advantage.


Skills & Competencies:

Excellent organizational and time management skills. Strong communication and interpersonal abilities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). Problem-solving and decision-making skills. Budget management and vendor negotiation experience. Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively. High level of professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality. Attention to detail and strong administrative capabilities.


Salary
