 Job Title: Power BI Business Analyst

Location: Abuja (FCT) About the Role

We are seeking a knowledgeable and experienced Data Analytics with Power BI Trainer to join our training team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering practical, engaging, and industry-focused training in Data Analytics, with particular emphasis on Power BI, Advanced Excel, and SQL. The ideal candidate should be able to simplify technical concepts and guide learners through hands-on exercises and real-world data analytics projects.

Deliver practical training in Data Analytics, Power BI, Advanced Excel, and SQL. Develop and deliver structured lesson plans, presentations, practical exercises, assignments, and projects. Train learners on Power BI Desktop, including data import, transformation, modelling, and visualisation. Teach learners how to create interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI. Train students on Power Query and DAX for data transformation and analysis. Teach Advanced Excel techniques, including: Guide learners through real-world datasets and practical analytics projects. Assess learners through assignments, practical exercises, tests, and projects. Provide constructive feedback and mentorship to learners. Prepare relevant datasets and practical case studies for classroom exercises. Keep training content current with industry trends, tools, and best practices. Create an engaging and supportive learning environment.

Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. Proven practical experience in Data Analytics and Power BI. Strong knowledge of Power BI, Advanced Excel, and SQL. Practical experience creating dashboards, reports, data models, and visualisations using Power BI. Strong knowledge of Power Query and DAX. Good understanding of data cleaning, transformation, analysis, and visualisation. Ability to work with real-world datasets and develop practical analytics projects. Previous experience as a trainer, instructor, facilitator, mentor, or teaching assistant is an advantage. Excellent communication and presentation skills. Ability to explain technical concepts clearly to beginners and intermediate learners. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
