Location: Awo - Omamma, Imo

Employment Type: Full-time Job Summary

We are seeking a highly committed, trustworthy, and detail-oriented Cashier to join our team at our Awo-Omamma Station/Outlet. The successful candidate will be responsible for the proper management, documentation, reconciliation, and safeguarding of cash and other financial transactions at the station.

Receive and account for cash collections from Customer Service Attendants (CSAs). Verify cash collections against sales records and relevant documentation. Maintain accurate records of all cash received and transactions processed. Ensure all station collections are properly reconciled and banked promptly in line with company procedures. Monitor and safeguard cash in custody pending banking. Report cash shortages, discrepancies, or irregularities promptly to the appropriate authority. Maintain proper documentation of cash collections, banking, and related transactions. Work closely with the Station Manager, Finance, Audit, and other relevant teams. Ensure strict compliance with company cash-handling and financial control procedures.

OND/HND/B.Sc. in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related discipline. Previous experience in cashiering, accounting, finance, or a similar role is an advantage. Strong numerical, reconciliation, and record-keeping skills. High level of integrity, accountability, and attention to detail. Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant office applications. Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
