 Job Title: Manager Recruitment& Staffing

Location: Lifecamp, Abuja (FCT) 

Employment Type: Full-time Job Description

The Manager is responsible for overseeing daily warehouse and logistics operations. You will manage a team of technicians, loaders and drivers to ensure inventory accuracy, safety compliance and high-quality equipment maintenance and standards. The role requires you to be A hands on leader, trouble shoot operational problems in a fast-paced environment. You will ensure the overall success of the rental branch. This includes ensuring inventory is showroom ready, managing a team of technicians, drivers, loaders and maintaining a high standard of customer relationship. You will balance the “back of house” logistics with the “front of the house” sales and customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

Inventory management: oversee procurement (fuel, servicing etc.) maintenance and tracking of all rental assets to minimize loss and maximize “uptime” Scheduling: coordinate delivery and pickup schedules, ensuring high efficiency in route planning and labour costs. Quality control: implement and enforce rigourous maintenance standards to ensure equipment/items safe, clean and fully functional before leaving the warehouse.

Staffing: Hire, on-board, train and mentor a diverse team, including casual staff, loaders, drivers Culture: foster a culture of accountability and service excellence, ensuring every staff member understands their role in the customer’s event or project success. Safety Compliance: ensure all operations meet local safety regulations and that the team is trained in proper equipment handling.

Conduct monthly and quarterly inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies. Manage maintenance logs for vehicles and specialized equipment to minimize downtime. Monitor stock levels and initiate reorders as needed.
