We are  recruiting to fill the position below:

 Job Title: Export Officer

Location: GZI-Agbara, Ogun

Employment Type: Full Time (Onsite) Job Description

To manage and coordinate the end-to-end export process, ensuring timely, cost-effective, and compliant shipment of finished goods, raw and packaging materials and recyclable materials to international customers while adhering to Nigerian export regulations and global trade requirements.

Roles & Responsibilities

Plan, coordinate and execute all export shipments via sea, air, or road freight. Manage the complete export cycle from order receipt through delivery to international customers. Ensure export orders are processed and shipped in accordance with customer requirements and agreed timelines. Coordinate cargo loading, container stuffing, and shipment scheduling with logistics service providers. Prepare and process all export documentation including: Commercial Invoice, Packing List, Proforma Invoice, Form NXP, Certificate of Origin, Clean Certificate of Inspection (CCI), Bill of Lading, and relevant export permits and licences. Ensure compliance with the Nigeria Customs Service (NCS), Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), Nigerian Export Promotion Council (NEPC), Pre-Shipment Inspection Agencies, and Port Authorities. Coordinate activities of freight forwarders, shipping lines, customs agents, and transport providers. Ensure efficient port operations and minimize delays.

Maintain strong working relationships with shipping lines, freight forwarders, customs brokers, banks, and government agencies. Monitor export logistics costs and ensure compliance with approved budgets. Identify opportunities to improve export processes. Support digitization and automation EAN initiatives within export operations.


Requirements

Education: Bachelor's Degree or HND in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Maritime Studies, International Trade, Economics, or a related discipline. Experience: Must have 3-5 years' experience in export logistics, shipping, freight forwarding, or international trade.
