Ekiti State College of Technology, Ijero-Ekiti (formerly College of Health Sciences and Technology) was recently upgraded to a Polytechnic following the signing into law of the upgrade bill by the Governor of Ekiti State and Visitor to the Polytechnic, His Excellency, Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji, on 23rd December, 2025.  Job Title: Senior Procurement Officer

Location: Ijero-Ekiti, Ekiti Job Description

The Senior Procurement Officer is required to lead procurement planning, sourcing and contract management. He will also be saddled with ensuring compliance with Public Procurement Act and the organizational policies of the Polytechnic. The candidate will equally manage vendor relationships and negotiations for costefficiency.

The candidate should have a good Bachelor Degree (minimum of Second-Class Lower Division) in Procurement, Business Administration, Finance, or any other relevant discipline with at least six (6) years post-qualification cognate work experience in the Procurement Department of a tertiary institution. The Professional Certificate in procurement CIPSMN or equivalent is mandatory. The preferred candidate should have experience in procurement matters in tertiary institution. Strong knowledge of e-procurement system und budgeting will be an advantage.
