We are  recruiting to fill the position below:

 Job Title: Procurement Officer

Location: Igbo-Efon, Lekki - Lagos

Employment Type: Full-time

Work Schedule: Monday – Friday (8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. + 1 compulsory Saturday monthly) Key Responsibilities

 Manage the end-to-end procurement process, including sourcing, supplier selection, quotations, negotiations, purchase orders, and delivery follow-up.  Monitor stock requirements in collaboration with the Inventory Officer to ensure timely replenishment and minimize stock-outs and overstocking.  Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and monitor supplier performance, pricing, quality, and delivery timelines.  Ensure purchased products meet required quality, quantity, shelf-life, and regulatory standards where applicable.  Maintain accurate procurement records, including purchase orders, quotations, supplier information, delivery documents, and related reports.  Identify cost-saving opportunities and ensure procurement activities deliver value for money while complying with approved procedures. Ensure all procurement activities are conducted ethically, transparently, and in the best interest of the Company.

Requirements  

 Bachelor's Degree or HND in Procurement and Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.  Atleast 1 year of relevant procurement experience, preferably in a supermarket, retail, FMCG, or similar environment.  Strong negotiation, supplier management, and communication skills.  Good knowledge of procurement processes, purchase orders, and inventory coordination.  Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and relevant procurement/ERP systems.  Strong attention to detail, analytical ability, integrity, and problem-solving skills.
