 Job Title: Quality Officer - Operations

Location: Lagos Job Description

We are seeking a detail oriented and proactive Quality Officer to support the monitoring and continuous improvement of operational activities across the airline. The successful candidate will assist in ensuring that operational processes comply with approved company procedures, regulatory requirements, safety standards, and established quality standards. The role will involve conducting inspections, monitoring compliance, identifying non conformities, and following up on corrective actions.

Monitor operational activities to ensure compliance with approved company policies, procedures, manuals, and regulatory requirements. Conduct routine quality inspections, audits, and surveillance of operational activities. Identify, document, and report operational non-conformities, observations, and areas of concern. Follow up on corrective and preventive actions to ensure timely and effective closure of findings. Assist in investigating the root causes of operational quality issues. Review operational records, reports, checklists, and other relevant documentation for compliance and accuracy. Monitor compliance across Passenger Services, Ground Operations, Flight Operations, and other operational areas as assigned. Support the Quality Manager in developing and implementing the annual quality audit and inspection programme. Participate in internal audits, regulatory inspections, and quality assurance activities. 

Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor's Degree or HND in Aviation Management, Engineering, Quality Management, Business Administration, or a related field. NYSC discharge certificate or exemption certificate is required. Minimum of 2 years' relevant experience in quality assurance, quality control, compliance, auditing, airline operations, airport operations, or a related field. Experience in an airline, airport, or other regulated operational environment is an added advantage. Knowledge of Quality Management Systems, audit principles, and quality assurance processes. Familiarity with NCAA regulations and applicable aviation operational standards is an advantage. Relevant aviation, quality, compliance, or auditing certifications will be an added advantage.
