 Job Title: Battery Shop Supervisor

Location: Lagos

Department: Engineering and Maintenance

Reports to: Workshop Manager Job Description

Supervise and perform all the maintenance tasks on the aircraft batteries in accordance with OEM approved documentation and in compliance with Air Peace and regulatory requirements.

Ensures that battery maintenance functional activities and procedures are planned, coordinated, integrated, and synchronized to achieve established operational readiness rates IAW APL AMO requirements. Responsible for the compliance with established battery maintenance systems, processes, and procedures. Establishes daily battery section maintenance processes to achieve operational goals, objectives and priorities for implementation in order to achieve stated operational readiness Oversees the daily tool maintenance management. Works within the maintenance quality control processes, procedures, and standards. 1) Conducts OJT training as required. Analyzes and resolves work problems or assists Technicians in solving work problems. Issues purchase requisitions for materials and parts necessary to perform work Keeps records of work in process and completed along with the Technicians time and materials. Assigns, schedules, and coordinates activities of personnel. Duties include, but not limited to, troubleshooting, tune-up, repair and overhaul of aircraft batteries Always maintaining safety and security of the battery shop work areas. Undertaking such other duties as may be reasonably requested by the Workshop Manager.

Achieve 95% of Target for batteries serviceability and availability Quality of Component and Equipment Maintenance Proper use of materials and consumables required for the battery's maintenance Train 100% of batteries Technicians

Bachelor's Degree in Electric / Avionic. 5 Years as aviation Electrician experience required. 5 Years Experience with aircraft battery maintenance. Aviation avionics/electrician course

Knowledge, Skills, Experience:

Strong supervisory experience Good knowledge of maintenance of SAFT and ACME Batteries Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills Proficient in using computer-hosted interactive technical manuals, aircraft maintenance forms, and other aircraft-related documentation. Proficient in MS Office software. Professional verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills. Ability to effectively communicate with the customer in a professional and courteous manner. Ability to lift and move up to 22 Kg repeatedly.
