 Job Title: Quality Officer - Maintenance

Location: Lagos Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Quality Officer to support the implementation and maintenance of the airline's Quality Management System and ensure compliance with applicable regulatory requirements, company standards, and approved procedures. The successful candidate will assist in monitoring operational activities, conducting quality inspections and audits, identifying areas of non-compliance, and supporting corrective and preventive actions to promote continuous improvement across the organization. 

Assist the Quality Manger & Safety Manager in implementing, maintaining and continually improving compliance monitoring. Ensure corrective actions are taken to address the root cause of findings and observations. Implement the audit program, record and track compliance of the program, chair and take minutes of meeting. Support safety investigation and maintain the reporting database. Identify safety hazards, conduct risk assessment and recommend measures for continuous improvement. Driving implementation of the Safety Management System. Liaising and follow up with the relevant CAAs.  Review maintenance & operations procedures, documentation, and records to identify areas for potential improvement and compliance gaps 

Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor's Degree or HND in Engineering, Quality Management, Business Administration, or a related field. Minimum of 2–3 years' relevant experience in quality assurance, quality control, compliance, auditing, or aviation operations. Experience in an airline, airport, aviation, engineering, or regulated environment is highly desirable. Knowledge of Quality Management Systems and auditing principles. Familiarity with applicable NCAA requirements and aviation regulations is an added advantage. Relevant quality, auditing, or aviation certifications will be an added advantage.  NYSC discharge certificate or exemption certificate is required.
