 Job Title: Manager, Talent Operations

The Manager, Talent Operations is responsible for driving efficient, consistent and data-led talent processes across the organisation. The role oversees workforce planning, talent acquisition, onboarding, employee confirmation, performance management, talent reporting and other key activities across the employee lifecycle. Working closely with business leaders, the Manager, Talent Operations will translate workforce requirements into practical talent solutions, strengthen operational processes and ensure the organisation has the right people and capabilities to meet its strategic and operational objectives.


Key Responsibilities

Partner with business leaders to understand workforce requirements and develop short- and long-term manpower plans. Lead the end-to-end talent acquisition process, including sourcing, screening, assessment, selection, offer management and onboarding. Develop recruitment strategies and talent pipelines for critical, specialised and safety-sensitive roles. Ensure hiring decisions are based on clearly defined competencies, role requirements and objective assessment standards. Manage onboarding, employee confirmation and performance management processes, ensuring all activities are completed accurately and within established timelines. Coordinate talent reviews, succession planning and the identification of high-potential employees for critical roles. Establish, document and continuously improve talent policies, procedures, workflows, templates and service standards. Drive consistency and accountability across all talent operations. Develop reports and dashboards that provide management with clear insights for workforce decision-making. Monitor key talent metrics, including time to fill, cost per hire, quality of hire, source effectiveness, confirmation rates, employee turnover and retention. Maintain accurate employee and recruitment data across relevant HR systems, ensuring the integrity and confidentiality of talent records. Leverage HR technology and automation to improve the efficiency, accuracy and overall experience of talent processes. Ensure talent activities comply with applicable employment regulations, internal policies and audit requirements. Manage relationships with recruitment agencies, assessment providers and other talent-related vendors. Strengthen the organisation’s employer brand and ensure a professional experience for candidates throughout the recruitment process. Lead and develop members of the Talent team by providing clear direction, coaching and performance expectations. Perform other talent-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Experience

Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology or a related discipline. A recognised HR certification, such as CIPM, CIPD or SHRM, is an added advantage. Minimum of seven years’ progressive experience in Human Resources or Talent Management, including at least three years in a supervisory or managerial role. Demonstrated experience in talent acquisition, workforce planning, performance management, employee lifecycle management and people analytics. Strong proficiency in HR information systems, applicant-tracking systems and reporting tools. Experience within aviation or another highly regulated and operationally intensive industry is an advantage.


Must have skills:

Talent Sourcing. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software. Excellent interpersonal. Negotiation and conflict resolution skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong leadership and team management skills. Ability to make sound decisions quickly and efficiently. Ability to prioritize and manage time efficiently. Experience with the use of applicant tracking software and HR databases.


Good to have skills:

Analytical skills. Knowledge of social media and professional networks.
