Job Type: Shift-Based About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Network Operations Centre (NOC) Engineer to oversee the day-to-day operation, monitoring, performance, and availability of the organization’s network infrastructure. The successful candidate will provide technical leadership to NOC Engineers, Field Engineers, and Resident Engineers, ensuring network incidents are detected, investigated, escalated, and resolved within agreed service levels.

Monitor network infrastructure, systems, and services to ensure high availability, stability, and optimal performance. Lead and coordinate NOC operations across assigned shifts, ensuring effective incident detection, response, escalation, and resolution. Troubleshoot complex network faults involving LAN/WAN, routing, switching, wireless, VPN, and connectivity infrastructure. Analyze network alarms, alerts, logs, and performance metrics to identify potential faults and service degradation. Coordinate with Field Engineers and Resident Engineers for on-site investigation and resolution of network incidents. Provide technical guidance and support to NOC Engineers and other technical team members. Take ownership of major network incidents and coordinate resolution activities until service is fully restored. Escalate incidents to relevant internal teams, vendors, or service providers when required. Perform root-cause analysis for recurring or major network incidents and recommend preventive measures.

Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Computer Engineering, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Telecommunications, or a related field. Proven experience working in a 24/7 or shift-based NOC environment. Strong hands-on experience troubleshooting network infrastructure and complex connectivity issues. Experience coordinating technical teams, Field Engineers, or Resident Engineers is highly desirable. Strong understanding of networking concepts, protocols, routing, and switching. Professional certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, CompTIA Network+, Fortinet, or equivalent networking certifications will be an advantage.
