Role Overview

• Shelter Setters Manufacturing Company is seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Staff to safeguard company premises, assets, staff, and visitors.
• The ideal candidate must be disciplined, trustworthy, and able to enforce company security policies effectively.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and secure company premises against theft, vandalism, and unauthorized entry.
• Control access to the facility by verifying identification of employees, contractors, and visitors.
• Conduct regular patrols within and around company facilities.
• Respond promptly to alarms, disturbances, and emergency situations.
• Ensure compliance with company safety and security protocols.
• Maintain accurate records of visitors, incidents, and security reports.
• Inspect and safeguard company assets, including vehicles, equipment, and raw materials.
• Collaborate with law enforcement and emergency services when required.
• Support Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) initiatives.

Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum of SSCE / WAEC certificate or equivalent.
• Previous experience as a security guard or officer (minimum of 2–3 years).
• Strong knowledge of security protocols and emergency procedures.
• Physically fit with the ability to stand or patrol for long hours.
• Must be observant, proactive, and alert at all times.
• Ability to communicate clearly (oral and written).
• Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
• Basic knowledge of security equipment (CCTV, alarm systems, handheld radios) is an advantage.
• Must be of good character, disciplined, and trustworthy.
• Security training or certification from a recognized institution is an added advantage.

• Team player with good interpersonal skills.
