Location: Gbagada, Lagos Job Summary

Our client is seeking an experienced Assistant Operations Manager – Manned Guardingto oversee security service delivery across assigned locations. The role will focus onoperational excellence, client management, risk and incident management, team leadership, compliance, and business growth.

Oversee daily manned guarding operations, deployments, site supervision, and service delivery. Ensure compliance with SOPs, post orders, company policies, service standards, and ISO requirements. Manage client relationships, resolve complaints, and provide security advisory support. Conductsecurity risk and threat assessmentsand recommend mitigation measures. Lead incident investigations, emergency response, and corrective actions. Supervise Operations Coordinators, Patrol Supervisors, Contract Managers, and security operatives. Monitor team performance, discipline, training, induction, and staff development. Prepare operational reports and monitor service performance across assigned locations. Support Sales withpre-sales security assessments, proposals, and technical requirements. Contribute tonew client acquisition, contract growth, client retention, and revenue targets. Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and service quality.

Requirements & Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree/HND inSecurity Management, Criminology, Business Administration, Management, or a related field. 5–8 years' experiencein security operations, preferably within manned guarding/physical security. 2–3 years in a supervisory or management role. Proven experience managingsecurity teams across multiple sites. Strong knowledge ofguarding operations, security risk assessment, incident management, and emergency response. Experience in client relationship and contract management. Ability to develop and implementSOPs, post orders, and operational procedures. Good understanding of security compliance and ISO standards. Strong reporting, communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills. Experience supportingbusiness development/pre-sales activitiesis an advantage. Relevant professional security certifications are an added advantage.
