Welcome U Shopping Centre is a reputable shopping center in the heart of the city, Port Harcourt. It has over five branches and deals mainly on retail trade and general supplies.

Job Title: Sales Associate / Merchandiser

Locations: Iwofe, Oginiba Trans Amadi, Woji, Elelenwo, Eneka, SARS Road and Rukpokwu - Rivers

Job Summary

• We are seeking proactive and detail-oriented Sales Associates / Merchandisers to join our team in Oginigba, Trans Amadi, Woji, Elelenwo, Rukpokwu, Iwofe, Eneka, SARS Road and nearby locations.
• The ideal candidate will ensure that products are well displayed, fully stocked, and attractively presented to maximize sales and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Arrange and maintain attractive product displays in line with company standards.
• Monitor stock levels, replenish shelves, and report shortages, damages, or near-expiry goods.
• Make sales and deliver timely reports.
• Build and maintain good relationships with store managers and staff to secure prime shelf space.
• Track competitors’ products, pricing, and promotions, and report findings to management.
• Provide regular feedback on product performance and customer preferences.
• Ensure compliance with company merchandising guidelines and health/safety standards.

Requirements

• Minimum of OND / NCE qualification; SSCE holders with experience may be considered.
• Must reside within Oginiba, Woji, Elelenwo, Trans Amadi, Iwofe, Rukpokwu, SARS Road, Eneka, PH and its environs
• Have good customer service relations.
• Proven experience in merchandising, sales, or retail (FMCG or supermarket experience is an advantage).
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently
• Physically fit to handle stocking and product arrangement.
• Attention to detail and a keen sense of visual presentation.

Preferred Skills:

• Negotiation and relationship management.
• Basic reporting and record-keeping skills.
