The Inventory Officer will maintain accurate records of food ingredients, packaging, kitchen equipment, plates, cutlery, and other catering items. The role also includes coordinating storekeepers, supervising stock-handling procedures, and supporting smooth day-to-day operations.

Key Duties

Receive, inspect, and record deliveries. Track stock levels and movement of ingredients, packaging, and other supplies. Monitor plates, cutlery, serving utensils, and similar items, including items issued for events and returned afterward. Record losses, breakages, damaged items, and discrepancies, and report them promptly. Coordinate and guide storekeepers to ensure accurate records and proper stock handling. Conduct regular stock counts and reconcile them with inventory records. Issue stock to the kitchen and other teams, recording all movements. Monitor expiry dates and help prevent spoilage and waste. Keep storage areas clean, organized, and properly labeled. Report low stock and coordinate with the purchasing team for timely restocking. Prepare regular inventory reports for management.
