 Job Title: Facility Manager

Location: VGC, Lagos

Employment Type: Full-time Job Description

We are looking for an experienced and proactive Facility Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations, maintenance, safety, and functionality of our facilities. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that the facility remains safe, clean, functional, and well-maintained while coordinating vendors, maintenance teams, and service providers effectively.

Oversee the daily operations and maintenance of the facility. Ensure that all facilities, equipment, utilities, and building systems are properly maintained. Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance activities. Supervise and coordinate facility staff, technicians, cleaners, security personnel, and external contractors where applicable. Manage relationships with vendors, contractors, and service providers. Monitor maintenance schedules and ensure timely repairs. Conduct regular inspections to identify maintenance, safety, and operational issues. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations. Monitor facility-related expenses and assist with budget management. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment, inspections, and repairs. Respond promptly to facility emergencies and operational issues. Ensure the facility is clean, secure, and conducive for employees and visitors. Recommend improvements that will enhance facility efficiency and reduce operational costs.

Bachelor’s Degree / HND qualification in Facility Management, Estate Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of relevant facility management experience. Strong knowledge of building maintenance, facility operations, and safety procedures. Excellent vendor and contractor management skills. Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and respond effectively to emergencies. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. Relevant professional certification in Facility Management will be an added advantage.
