 Job Title: Engineering and Instrumentation Engineer

Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers Job Summary

We are  seeking a competent mid-level E&I professional with proven hands-on experience with Emerson products and solutions to support our Emerson-related projects, products and field activities.

Job Responsibilitie

Oversee and provide technical support for Fortis Engineering's Emerson- related projects, products and field activities. Support installation, testing, troubleshooting, commissioning and servicing of Emerson instrumentation and control systems. Provide technical and field support to clients on Emerson-related equipment and solutions. Assist with technical documentation, reporting and coordination of Emerson-related activities.

B.Sc./B.Eng., HND in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Instrumentation & Control Engineering, or a related discipline. Must have 7-10 years of relevant E&I/Instrumentation & Control experience, with demonstrated hands-on Emerson experience. Emerson DeltaV training/certification - optional, but an added advantage. CompEx or IECEx certification - optional, but an added advantage. Experience with Emerson technologies/products such as DeltaV, Rosemount, Fisher, Micro Motion or related Emerson solutions will be highly relevant.

Good knowledge of Instrumentation & Control systems. Practical, hands-on experience with Emerson products and solutions. Ability to troubleshoot, test, commission and provide technical support. Good understanding of industrial automation and process control systems. Ability to read and interpret instrumentation/control drawings and technical documentation. Good field service and customer-support capabilities. Ability to work independently and interact professionally with clients. Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
