Audit / Internal Control Manager

Primary Responsibilities


Supervise internal control activities within the Operations Division, including logistics, Maintenance, Workshop, Warehouse, and Information Technology.
Oversee and regulate the acquisition and utilization of imprest and expenditures by the aforementioned Division.
Enhance productivity, synergy, and efficiency within the Operations Division by facilitating smooth information and resource flow.
Ensure precise record-keeping within the Division.
Guarantee the implementation of management procedures within the Operations Division.
Supervise the issuance and reconciliation of seals to the Logistics Department for loading.
Enforce Divisional guidelines for expenditure and parts purchases for the Operations Division, including the provision of the Departmental price guide.
Orchestrate the retirement of all source documents within the Operations Division, including waybills, trip allowance books, vouchers, etc.
Ensure the enforcement of policies and report violations within the Operations Division.
Verify that any lapses or omissions in policy violations, such as driver's infractions, are promptly reported.
Conduct process audits within the Operations Division to ensure productivity and efficiency, as well as reduce downtime and redundancy.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Finance or other Directors from time to time.


Qualifications


B.Sc. in Social and/or Management Sciences with membership in relevant professional bodies (ICAN, ACA, ACCA)
Minimum of five years of relevant Audit Management experience, strong technical expertise in financial accounting, excellent interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills. Must be analytical, results-oriented, and computer literate
Proficiency in a range of PC packages and software (especially the SAGE package) with extensive knowledge of spreadsheets and accounting systems
