Technocrime Security Limited delivers security services to individuals and corporate bodies across the country. We also recruit, train, and deploy security personnel in accordance with mutually agreed terms, and in compliance with the stipulations of the Private Guard Companies Decree N0.33 of 1986. We are licensed by the Nigeria Security and Civil Defense Corps as a private security company.
We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Accountant
Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Key Responsibilities
Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in line with applicable accounting standards and company policies.
Manage petty cash and expense documentation
Support payroll
Maintain and manage the general ledger, ensuring all transactions are properly recorded and reconciled.
Carry out regular reconciliations of bank accounts, balance sheet items, and other key financial accounts.
Ensure compliance with tax laws, regulatory requirements, and financial reporting standards.
Support internal and external audit processes by preparing schedules and documentation and responding to audit queries.
Manage tax computations, VAT returns, and other statutory filings accurately and within required timelines.
Strengthen internal control processes to safeguard company assets and ensure financial accuracy.
RequirementsB.Sc. or HND in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
5-7– years of relevant experience
ICAN qualification or professional certification is an added advantage
Experience supporting audits and working with internal control and risk management processes
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting tools
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Good communication and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
