Description
Leap MFI is seeking a diligent, detail oriented, and results driven Verification Officer to join out team.
Key ResponsibilitiesConduct thorough verification of loan applicants and their guarantors.
Carry out physical visit to applicants' residence and places of business.
Validate submitted documents and information.
Confirm KYC information, including BVN, NIN and ID cards.
Prepare accurate verification reports and submit findings promptly.
Identify discrepancies and potential risks during verification.
Keep verification records secure and confidential.
RequirementsBachelor's Degres or HND in relevant discipline
Previous experience in verification, or field operation (Microfinance or Banking preferred)
Good Knowledge of the local area and its markets
Strong communication, analytical, and investigation skills.
High level of integrity, attention to detail, and professionalism
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Proficiency in Microsoft Office & Excel.
