Job Title: Branch Internal Control Officer
Locations: Lagos Island and Mainland - Lagos

Primary Job Responsibilities
Monitor branch operations to ensure compliance with internal policies, procedures, SOPs and regulatory requirements.
Conduct regular and surprise cash counts, verifying vault and teller balances and ensuring compliance with approved cash retention limits.
Identify, investigate and promptly report operational irregularities, fraud and control breaches.
Review transactions, account opening documents, loan documentation and approvals for accuracy and compliance.
Prepare timely internal control, compliance, exception, fraud and risk management reports for Management.
Major Requirements
B.Sc./HND in Accounting, Banking and Finance, Economics or any other numerate discipline.
Minimum of three years’ relevant experience in an Audit firm, MFBs/MFIs, Commercial banks or Finance houses.
Partly qualified in ICAN or ACA will be an added advantage.
Note: Candidates must be available for deployment to any of the bank’s branches, as operational needs may require.
SalaryN400,000 - N500,000 net per month, plus other benefits.
