Job Title: Security Operative

Employment Type: Full-time Job Summary

We are looking for a diligent Security Officer to ensure the safety and security of our premises, assets, and personnel. The ideal candidate will have a strong sense of responsibility, attention to detail, and the ability to respond effectively to emergencies and security threats.

Enforce access control procedures and verify the identity of individuals entering the premises. Patrol and monitor premises to prevent and detect signs of intrusion, vandalism, or other security threats. Respond to alarms, emergencies, and incidents promptly and appropriately. Conduct security checks and inspections of designated areas. Maintain accurate records of security-related activities, incidents, and observations. Provide assistance and support to employees and visitors as needed. Report any security breaches, safety hazards, or suspicious activities to management. Follow security protocols, procedures, and guidelines to ensure compliance with regulations and company policies.

Requirements and Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent; additional training or certification in security is a plus. Proven experience as a security officer or related role. Must be 5.7ft and above tall As the first point of contact, must look presentable. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Ability to remain calm and respond effectively in stressful situations. Physical fitness and ability to perform security-related tasks. Knowledge of security protocols and procedures. Attention to detail and accuracy in reporting. Integrity and professionalism in handling sensitive information. Availability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
