Security Officer

Position Overview


We are looking for a qualified and competent Security Supervisor to join our team at Dana Pharmaceuticals in Ibadan.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the security operations of our organization, ensuring the safety and protection of our employees, assets, and premises.


Key Duties

Supervision of Security Personnel:


Oversee and direct a team of security guards
Ensure security personnel are adequately trained and equipped to perform their duties effectively.


Security Operations Management:


Monitor and address security breaches or incidents
Perform regular patrols and inspections of premises
Enforce adherence to security protocols and procedures.


Risk Assessment and Mitigation:


Identify potential security risks and vulnerabilities
Develop and implement strategies to minimize security risks.


Emergency Response Coordination:


Respond to emergency situations such as intrusions, fires, or medical emergencies
Liaise with emergency services as required.


Documentation and Reporting:


Maintain accurate records of security incidents and breaches
Prepare and submit security reports as needed.


Interdepartmental Collaboration:


Work closely with other departments to ensure a safe and secure working environment
Coordinate with law enforcement agencies and other external stakeholders as necessary.


Qualifications and Requirements


National Diploma (ND) in any field
Previous experience is advantageous
Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a security supervisory role.
