Ā Job Title: Male Laundry Personnel
Location:Ā Surelere, LagosĀ
Key Roles and Duties
Washing and Cleaning: Wash bed sheets, pillowcases, towels, uniforms, and other hotel linen according to established procedures.
Sorting Laundry: Separate white, coloured, delicate, and heavily soiled items before washing.
Operating Equipment: Operate washing machines, dryers, pressing machines, and irons safely and correctly.
Ironing and Folding: Iron, fold, and arrange clean laundry neatly for distribution.
Stain Removal: Identify and treat stains using appropriate cleaning agents and techniques.
Linen Handling: Count, record, and distribute clean linen to the housekeeping department and other relevant units.
Guest Laundry Services: Handle guestsā clothing carefully and ensure timely delivery where the service is provided.
Equipment Maintenance: Keep laundry equipment clean and report faults or breakdowns to management.
Hygiene and Safety: Maintain a clean laundry area and handle detergents and chemicals safely.
Preventing Loss and Damage: Protect hotel linen and guestsā clothing from loss, shrinkage, colour damage, or mishandling.
Quality Control: Inspect washed items to ensure they are clean, properly dried, stain-free, and presentable.
Reporting: Report damaged, missing, or excessively worn linen to the supervisor.
RequirementsMust be hardworking, honest, detail-oriented, physically fit for the duties, and able to follow hygiene and safety procedures.
SalaryN70,000 per month.
