Job Title: Django and Python Web Developer
Location: Nigeria (Hybrid)
Summary
We are seeking a talented Django and Python Developer to join our team.
The successful candidate will have extensive experience in developing scalable, high-performance web applications using Django, Python, and other related technologies.
You will have the following responsibilities
Develop and maintain web applications using Django and Python
Write reusable, testable, and efficient code
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and solve complex problems
Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployments
Optimize application performance and scalability
Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in web development.
Must have the following
Bachelor's Degree from a reputable university
Minimum of 3 years of experience in Django and Python development
Solid understanding of web technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
Experience with databases such as MongoDB or MySQL
Knowledge of version control systems such as Git or similar tools
Familiarity with Agile methodologies and practices
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Strong communication skills
Experience with front-end frameworks such as React is a plus
Experience with Heroku, AWS or other cloud platforms
Familiarity with agile development methodologies
Industry Experience: Trading and electronic trading platforms is a plus.
