Elkris Healthcare Limited is seeking a qualified and compassionate Community Health Extension Worker (CHEW) to join our healthcare team in Ado, Abuja.

Attend to patients and provide basic healthcare services. Administer prescribed medications and treatments appropriately. Take and record patients' vital signs and medical history. Assist with patient assessment and routine clinical procedures. Educate patients on medication usage, health, hygiene, and preventive care. Monitor patients and promptly report any unusual symptoms or changes in condition to the appropriate medical professional. Maintain accurate and confidential patient records. Ensure proper handling, storage, and administration of medications in accordance with approved medical procedures. Support other healthcare professionals in providing quality patient care. Maintain a clean, safe, and professional clinical environment.

Must possess a recognized CHEW qualification/certificate. Must have relevant experience working in a hospital, clinic, healthcare centre, or similar environment. Must have good knowledge of commonly prescribed medications and understand how to safely administer drugs as prescribed and within the scope of practice. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work responsibly and maintain patient confidentiality. Must be compassionate, patient, attentive, and professional. Ability to work effectively under minimal supervision is an advantage.

Applicants must reside within or around Ado, Nyanya, Mararaba, or Karu, Abuja, due to the location of the role.
