We are seeking a responsible, customer-focused, and proactive Cashier/Sales Assistant to join our retail team. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling customer transactions, providing excellent customer service, assisting customers with product selection, maintaining an organized sales environment, and ensuring accurate daily sales and cash records.

Welcome and attend to customers professionally and courteously. Process customer purchases accurately using the POS system and other payment channels. Receive and reconcile cash, POS, transfers, and other approved payments. Issue receipts and ensure all transactions are properly recorded. Assist customers with product enquiries, recommendations, and purchases. Arrange, organize, and merchandise products attractively on shelves and displays. Monitor product availability and notify the supervisor of low-stock or fast-moving items. Maintain cleanliness and proper presentation of the sales area and cashier station. Assist with stock counting, inventory checks, and product restocking. Handle customer complaints and enquiries professionally, escalating complex issues when necessary. Maintain accurate records of daily sales and transactions. Ensure proper handling and security of cash and company property. Support other retail operations as assigned by the supervisor or management.

Minimum of OND in any relevant discipline. 1–3 years of experience in cashier or sales Assistant Role. Previous retail, cashier, or sales experience is a strong advantage. Good customer service and interpersonal skills. Excellent communication skills and a pleasant disposition. Basic computer literacy. Ability to operate a POS terminal and handle electronic payments. Good numerical and record-keeping skills. Ability to organize, arrange, and merchandise products effectively. Must be proactive, reliable, and able to work with minimal supervision. Ability to remain calm and professional when dealing with customer pressure or difficult situations. Good attention to detail and ability to maintain transaction accuracy. Must be willing to work according to the required schedule.
