Responsibilities
Main Tasks or Activities of the Job:
Contribute to the design, planning, and development of program strategies focused on sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR), ensuring alignment with national priorities and global standards.
Coordinate the implementation of SRHR projects, ensuring all activities are executed in line with approved work plans, timelines, budgets, and expected outcomes.
Drive demand generation efforts targeted at increasing access and utilization of SRHR services among adolescents and young adults, particularly in underserved communities across Nigeria.
Prepare and submit high-quality technical documents, including progress reports, policy briefs, videos, and other relevant publications in a timely manner.
Assist in the design and implementation of monitoring, evaluation, and learning frameworks to track program performance, outcomes, and impact.
Participate in capacity-building activities and stakeholder engagement meetings to promote advocacy and knowledge sharing around SRHR.
Requirements
Qualification: Bachelor's Degree in health sciences, social sciences, public health, or a related field
Minimum of two years of hands-on experience supporting or managing SRHR-focused programs within an NGO or a community.
Strong understanding of SRHR issues, policies, and frameworks at the local, national, regional, and international levels.
Proven skills in technical writing and professional communication, including the ability to develop compelling proposals, reports, and presentation materials, and to lead or facilitate sessions as needed.
Proficiency in the use of Google Workspace tools (Docs, Sheets, Slides).
High level of accuracy and attention to detail; ability to manage multiple tasks, meet tight deadlines, and work independently while maintaining team collaboration.
Proficiency in Yoruba is mandatory due to the nature and location of community-based activities.
Familiarity with youth engagement strategies and gender-sensitive programming will be considered an asset.
