Responsibilities
Software Development:Design, develop, and implement software applications and systems to meet organisational and user requirements.
System Maintenance and Updates:Maintain, upgrade, and improve existing software applications to ensure optimal performance and functionality.
Testing and Debugging:Conduct software testing, identify bugs, troubleshoot technical issues, and implement appropriate solutions.
System Design and Documentation:Develop software architecture, technical specifications, and documentation to support efficient system development and maintenance.
Collaboration and Technical Support:Work closely with other IT professionals, departments, and stakeholders to understand requirements and provide technical solutions.
Security and Performance Optimisation:Implement security measures, protect organisational data, and optimise software systems to ensure reliability, efficiency, and compliance with IT standards.
·Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 3years of experience as a software developer.
Strong proficiency in PHP, including frameworks such as CodeIgniter and Laravel.
Solid understanding of JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS for front-end development.
Experience with React JS and React Native for building dynamic user interfaces.
Proficiency in relational databases such as Postgres and non-relational databases like MongoDB.
Familiarity with SQL for database management and querying.
Knowledge of version control systems such as GitHub/GitLab.
Experience with Python and Django is a plus.
