Location: Victoria Island (V.I), Lagos

Employment Type: Full-time Job Summary

The Relationship Manager will be responsible for building and maintaining strong customer relationships, identifying business opportunities, and converting relationships into profitable business for the Bank.

Acquire and sustain retail and commercial customer accounts. Build and maintain a strong database of existing and prospective customers. Identify customer needs and recommend suitable products and services. Review and analyze credit applications in line with the Bank’s policies. Manage assigned credit portfolios and monitor credit quality. Develop and maintain strong customer relationships through calls and physical marketing visits. Resolve customer complaints and ensure customer satisfaction. Support customers through the account opening process. Drive sales, cross-selling, revenue growth, and customer retention. Prepare accurate and timely activity and performance reports. Support loan recovery and other assigned business development activities.

First Degree or equivalent. Minimum of 4 years’ cognate experience as a Relationship Manager. Strong credit knowledge and understanding of the market. Excellent product knowledge. Impressive customer/contact network. Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills. Excellent customer service orientation. Must be sales-driven and result-oriented. Ability to demonstrate persistence, initiative, creativity, and innovation. Good computer skills. Excellent spoken English. Ability to work effectively as a team player.
