Mechanical Maintenance Engineer

About the Role:

The role involves preparing JHA, PTW, and work method statements for mechanical maintenance. It ensures equipment integrity and performance monitoring, conducts inspections, schedules planned and preventive maintenance, and maintains machinery in optimal working condition.

Major Areas of Responsibility:

Prepare SOP/MJR to ensure compliance with industry and regulatory standards.
Contribute to and comply with all HSE obligations.
Participate in daily toolbox meetings before commencing maintenance activities.
Contribute to the listing of needed Mechanical maintenance parts, tools, and equipment requirements.
Execute planned Mechanical preventive maintenance jobs.
Execute Mechanical corrective maintenance jobs.
Replacement of Mechanical installation and fittings.
Testing and functionality inspection of Mechanical installations.
Provide support for the accomplishment of third-party contractor jobs.
Participate in cross-functional sessions to effectively crossbreed knowledge on specialty areas of the job.

Requirements:

HND/BSc/B. Eng in Mechanical Engineering.
Relevant experience in a similar role minimum 8 years.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software as needed to complete reports, logs, and inventory.
Ability to use the latest PM ERP software to manage maintenance business processes.
MSc, MNSE, COREN.
Knowledge of HSE, PTW, ISO 14001, QA & QC of E&I installations.
