Graduate Trainee: Inventory Personnel

Position Overview:

We are looking for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Graduate Trainee to join our Inventory Management team. The successful applicant will undergo extensive training in inventory control processes, stock management, and supply chain operations to support efficient warehouse and logistics functions. This position offers an excellent opportunity for recent graduates to gain practical experience and develop within a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Primary Responsibilities:


Support the receipt, storage, and distribution of goods and materials.
Keep accurate inventory records using inventory management systems.
Perform regular stock counts and resolve discrepancies.
Assist in preparing inventory reports and documentation.
Observe stock levels and inform supervisors of low or excess inventory.
Take part in inventory audits and cycle counts.
Ensure proper labeling, handling, and storage of materials.
Adhere to safety and operational procedures in the warehouse.
Work with procurement, logistics, and warehouse teams to optimize inventory flows.
Familiarize yourself with and utilize inventory software and ERP systems.


Qualifications:


Bachelor's degree in Financial Accounts, Accounts, Statistics, or related field.
Robust numerical and analytical abilities.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
Enthusiasm to learn and grow professionally.
Keen attention to detail and accuracy.
Capability to work effectively independently and in a team setting.


Desirable Skills (Not Mandatory):


Internship or prior experience in inventory management.
Acquaintance with inventory software or ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or QuickBooks).
