We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Feed mill Production Manager to oversee and coordinate the day-to-day operations of our poultry feed mill. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring efficient production, consistent feed quality, effective manpower utilization, proper handling of raw materials and adherence to production and safety standards.

Plan, coordinate and supervise daily feed mill production activities. Manage the production of quality poultry feed in accordance with approved feed formulations and production standards. Supervise the receiving, handling, weighing, batching, grinding, mixing, pelleting and packaging of feed materials, as applicable to the feed mill. Ensure accurate batching and proper mixing of raw materials according to approved formulations. Monitor production processes to minimize wastage, contamination and production losses. Ensure that raw materials and finished feeds are properly handled, stored and accounted for. Monitor production output and ensure daily and monthly production targets are achieved. Supervise, train and coordinate feed mill production staff. Ensure proper operation, cleaning and routine maintenance of feed mill machinery and equipment. Work closely with the Quality Control, Procurement, Warehouse and Farm/Poultry teams to ensure smooth production operations. Monitor feed quality and promptly report any deviation from approved standards. Maintain accurate production records, including raw-material usage, production output, wastage and finished-feed quantities. Implement measures to improve production efficiency, reduce operational costs and minimize wastage. Ensure strict compliance with workplace health and safety procedures. Identify production challenges and implement practical solutions. Prepare regular production reports for Management. Ensure proper housekeeping and hygiene within the feed mill. Perform other duties related to feed mill operations as assigned by Management.

Bachelor’s Degree, HND or equivalent qualification in Animal Science, Animal Nutrition, Agricultural Science, Feed Technology, Production Management, or a related field. Minimum of 2–3 years’ relevant experience in animal feed production, preferably poultry feed production. Practical knowledge of feed mill operations and poultry feed production processes. Good understanding of feed raw materials, their handling and storage. Knowledge of batching, grinding, mixing, pelleting and/or other feed processing operations will be an advantage. Ability to interpret and work with approved feed formulations. Strong leadership and team-management skills. Good knowledge of production planning, inventory control and quality assurance. Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills. Good communication and reporting skills. Ability to work under pressure and meet production targets. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and production record-keeping will be an advantage. Candidates with hands-on experience in a commercial poultry feed mill will be highly preferred.
