We are seeking a highly organized, proactive, and detail-orientedEntry-Level Accountantto join our team. We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Entry-Level Accountant to join our finance team. The successful candidate will support daily accounting operations, maintain accurate financial records, assist with reconciliations and reporting, and ensure financial transactions are properly documented. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or early-career accountant

The Key Responsibilities

Record and maintain accurate financial transactions and accounting records. Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable activities. Prepare and process invoices, receipts, payment vouchers, and other financial documents. Perform bank and ledger reconciliations. Assist in preparing monthly financial reports and statements. Monitor expenses and ensure proper documentation and approvals. Assist with payroll preparation and related accounting records. Maintain organized financial files and supporting documentation. Assist with budgeting, expense tracking, and financial analysis. Support the preparation of tax and statutory documentation where required. Identify discrepancies in financial records and report them to the appropriate supervisor. Assist with audits by providing required financial records and documentation. Ensure accounting activities comply with company policies and applicable accounting standards. Perform other finance and accounting duties as assigned.

B.Sc. or HND in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline. 0–2 years of accounting or finance experience; NYSC/internship experience is an advantage. Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting. Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office tools. Familiarity with accounting software is an advantage. Strong numerical and analytical skills. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. Good organizational and time-management skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to maintain confidentiality when handling financial information. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
