Cost Controller

Position Overview

In general, to provide support to the Project Management team for all aspects related to Budget and Cost Control

for IMA Project activities and comprehensive Cost reporting.


To coordinate, organize, and oversee all activities by guiding, supporting, and directing staff in their roles, responsibilities, and objectives.
To offer recommendations and suggest enhancements regarding the IMA Project coding structure to be developed.
To ensure proper implementation and propose improvements to Project and Corporate procedures, tools, and methods to guarantee efficient organization and operation of Project Cost Control activities.
To contribute (from a Cost Control perspective) to the preparation, consolidation, and review of various Project budgets and updates (internal and external / Annual and Multiyear) with input from Project Team members and provide ad hoc economic support as needed.
To perform necessary checks and approval functions for submitted invoices, in accordance with Contracts, Project & Company procedures, Sarbanes & Oxley requirements, and DoA.
To input necessary data into the UNISUP System regarding payment schedules (cash calls), invoicing, and cost control issues as required.
To compile and issue required Project cost information and data for Subsidiary, Partners, Shareholders, Concessionaire, and Company.
To assist in evaluating costs for any contract variations, identify Project cost trends, drifts, variances, update data, maintain the Project Final Cost Estimate, and prepare the Monthly Cost Report with comments.
To actively communicate with TEPNG Finance Department on all matters related to cost and accounting as needed (Commitments, invoice processing and payment, accruals, payment claims and disputes...)
To maintain strict confidentiality of all Budget and Cost documentation (regardless of format)
To report promptly to the Project Control Manager, highlighting progress achieved and promptly reporting any areas of concern or problems encountered; to assist and support them with all matters related to Cost Control.


Responsibilities


Organize work in full compliance with and within the limits of defined and approved planning & budgets.
Maintain positive relationships with other Departments / Packages within the Division.
Establish good relationships with other TEPNG entities such as Strategy and Planning Division, Production Division, Drilling and Completion Division; Engineering, Project and Modifications Division.
Ensure a collaborative approach to work, fostering a positive team spirit.


Requirements


Professional Experience (years): 5-15
Experience in similar position (years): 5
Level / Diploma: Engineering degree or equivalent.
Languages: English proficiency required
