 Job Title: Chinese Translator

Location: Jabi, Abuja (FCT)

Employment Type: Full-time Description

We are seeking a Chinese Translator to facilitate clear and effective  communication between Chinese- and English-speaking employees, clients, and stakeholders. The successful candidate will provide accurate translation and interpretation support while assisting with communication, documentation, and day-to-day business activities.

Translate and interpret between Mandarin Chinese and English accurately and professionally. Facilitate communication during meetings, discussions, and business activities. Translate emails, reports, documents, correspondence, and other materials. Support Chinese and English-speaking teams with effective communication and coordination. Assist with administrative and operational activities when required. Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information and company documents. Ensure clear and accurate communication across teams and departments. Perform other translation and communication-related duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Chinese Language, Linguistics, Languages, or a related field. Fluency in Mandarin Chinese and English, both spoken and written. Strong translation and interpretation skills with excellent attention to accuracy and context. Good understanding of Chinese and English culture and business communication. Ability to translate documents, correspondence, meetings, and verbal communications accurately. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and listening skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other communication tools. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally. Previous experience as a Chinese Translator or Interpreter is an advantage. Ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment and under pressure. High level of professionalism, integrity, and reliability.
