Job Description
Prepare and cook meals according to the restaurant’s menu, recipes, and quality standards.
Ensure consistency in the taste, quality, portioning, and presentation of all dishes.
Maintain proper food storage, handling, and preservation procedures.
Monitor ingredient usage, minimize food waste, and maintain effective portion control.
Work closely with other kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation and service of orders.
Comply with all food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards.
Requirements and Qualifications
Relevant culinary qualifications or professional training will be an advantage.
Proven experience working as a chef in a restaurant, hotel, or similar hospitality establishment.
Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and food presentation.
Good understanding of food safety, hygiene, and kitchen sanitation.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen.
Creativity, attention to detail, and a passion for cooking.
Good communication, teamwork, and time-management skills.
Ability to work independently and follow instructions.
