Create and implement hardware for specialized control systems, such as Distributed Control Systems (DCS), Safety Instrumented Systems (SIS), and Fire & Gas Systems (FGS), with an emphasis on Yokogawa, Triconix and Foxboro platforms.
Guarantee compliance with major industrial standards and apply a conceptual understanding of these standards throughout project stages.
Exhibit a comprehensive understanding of major instrumentation used in the industry, including clarity on operational principles and system functionality.
Develop engineering documentation including system architecture diagrams, I/O lists, panel layouts, loop diagrams, and wiring schematics.
Examine and interpret client specifications, including Functional Requirement Specifications (FRS), Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs), Cause & Effect Diagrams (C&Es), drawings, narratives, and philosophies to gather essential project information.
Conduct system testing, Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) for control systems and on-site work, including commissioning and startup.
Practical experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Function as the technical point of contact for the client, providing clarity on system functionalities and addressing technical inquiries.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to interpret and discuss technical information.
Requirements:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics, Electrical, Mechatronics, or Control Systems Engineering.
5 to 8 years of experience in engineering roles related to control systems, preferably with DCS/SIS/FGS platforms.
Practical experience with Yokogawa, Foxboro, and Triconix systems.
Robust understanding of industrial instrumentation and control systems design.
Proficiency in reading and interpreting P&IDs, FRS, Cause & Effect diagrams, and control narratives.
Experience with system testing, FAT, SAT, and commissioning.
