Job Title: Accounts Officer

Description
Our client is looking for an Accounts Officer to support quality assurance and quality control activities across production, ensuring products meet regulatory, safety, and company quality standards.
Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare monthly management accounts, cost reports, and variance analysis.
Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
Monitor and analyze production costs, overheads, and profitability by product line.
Assist in stock/inventory valuation and reconciliation with the warehouse/production team.
Prepare periodic financial reports for management review.
Support internal control processes and ensure compliance with accounting policies.
Assist with audits (internal and external) by providing required schedules and documentation.
Support cash flow monitoring and expenditure tracking.
Perform other accounting duties as assigned by the Finance Manager.
RequirementsB.Sc. / HND in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Minimum of 1 year post-NYSC experience in a similar role, preferably in a manufacturing/FMCG environment.
Professional certification (ICAN/ACCA - part-qualified or in view) is an added advantage.
Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software (e.g., Sage, SAP, QuickBooks).
Strong analytical, numerical, and reporting skills.
High attention to detail and integrity.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
